Care Instructions
Your hand-dyed item has been pre-washed with textile soap, soaked in a solution, dyed, heavily rinsed, and post-washed in textile soap; all of these steps are to ensure that the colors are permanent, and that they won't bleed. However, some pigments are more challenging and might bleed in the 2nd or 3rd wash- because of this, I recommend hand washing separately for the 1st and 2nd time. Your piece will last longer and fade less if you continue to hand-wash, but depending on frequency of washing, machine washing can be just fine too. Use cold water, and hang to dry to avoid fading.
